About the orchard

AppleAtcha is a development project in eastern Kentucky that will be a vertical integrated apple facility. The Company aims to transform 1,000+ acres of reclaimed surface coal mining lands into a thriving commercial apple orchard. Currently, the company has successfully developed and planted 120,000 trees on 60 acres. Land prep has already started on an additional 70 acres, which will be ready for planting in the upcoming season. Plans are underway to prepare 400 acres for the 2024 planting season.
